Welcome to Melrose Books

Melrose Books is a long established and highly regarded independent publishing company based in the historic cathedral city of Ely near Cambridge. We are always looking for new authors whether they are recognised or unknown.

Our partnership publishing packages are popular because they provide a tailored, full service, including marketing support and Social media forms an integral part of our marketing packages including Facebook, Twitter and Wordpress. A full ebook and distribution of content service is also provided which gives our authors' books visibility and exposure worldwide.

All our books are available to purchase online, through our website, and in outlets such as Waterstones, Foyles, independent bookshops, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.

Partnership publishing typically offers authors a much higher royalty rate whereas mainstream publishing offers between 7.5 to 15%. Many of our authors come to us through recommendation and return to us with further titles for publication. All existing and new authors are welcome to visit our offices at any time to meet our team. Have a look at the testimonials of our writers - nothing speaks louder than a succesful author!

Please click on our submissions page for details on how to submit your manuscript.

We are committed to publishing quality books across all genres, with a particular expertise in memoirsbiographies, and religious, historical and educational works. We also publish and successfully market reference, business, medical and coffee table books, books for charitable associations and, of course, fiction and poetry.

Conserving our planet is also very important to us and we operate an ethical environmental policy. Our books are printed on paper from sustainably managed forests and we regularly monitor our recycling practices.
